Your design, your words, your survey plan

Last updated 25 October 2026.

Your design: on your device, and in your account if you sign in

You don't need an account to use Concept Studio. Signed out, your plot, brief and design are kept in this browser on this device, not on SCAACH's servers. Clearing your browser's data removes them.

If you sign in, we also keep your designs in your account so you can open them on any phone or computer: each design's plot size, your answers, the design and the versions you save, and your last few messages with the design assistant (so it remembers what you asked).

  • They're stored with our database provider, Supabase, on servers in London, United Kingdom.
  • Only you can see them. SCAACH staff see a design only once you send it to SCAACH.
  • Delete a design any time in My designs: it and its versions are deleted for good, from your account and from this device.

Your account

You sign in with your email address: we email you a code, so there's no password. After the first sign-in we ask for your name, phone number, and city and state, so SCAACH can call or WhatsApp you about your design.

  • These are kept with Supabase in London, like your designs, and used only to talk to you about your designs. We don't sell them or share them for advertising.
  • They are never sent to the design assistant.
  • You can change them on the About you page. To close your account and delete everything, write to us (below) and we'll do it within 30 days.

What you type to the design assistant

When you describe your house or ask for a change, your words, your plot's size and your design are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (the maker of Claude), so it can work out the design.

  • We never send your name, phone number or email address. If you type a phone number, email address or web link, we take it out before sending.
  • Anthropic's terms for business customers say they don't use what we send to train their models.

Your survey plan

You can attach a survey plan so the assistant reads your plot's size. A survey plan shows the landowner's name and often an address, so we only read it after you tick the box agreeing to it.

  • The photo or PDF is sent to Anthropic once, to read the measurements. Nothing else about you is sent with it.
  • SCAACH doesn't keep a copy: it stays on your device. If you later send your design to SCAACH, we'll ask before including it.
  • You can always type your plot's size in instead.

A picture of a house you like

If you start from a floor plan or a photo of a house you like, the picture is sent to Anthropic once, so the assistant can describe its rooms and its looks. We design something similar on your plot; we don't copy the drawing. SCAACH doesn't keep the picture, and the assistant is told to leave out any names on it.

What we record

To keep the free assistant fair for everyone, we limit how often it can be used. For each request we record the time, what kind of request it was, what it cost, a random number that identifies your browser (kept in a cookie), or your account if you're signed in, and a scrambled form of your internet address. The scrambled address can't be turned back into the real one, and we don't record what you typed.

There is one exception, and you choose it: if you tap Not what I asked or Undo this change after the assistant changes your design, we keep what you asked for (with any phone numbers, emails or links taken out), what the assistant did, and your design and plot sizes as they were, so we can see what went wrong and teach the assistant to do better. Only SCAACH staff can see these, and they include no name or contact details.

Cookies and settings

One cookie for the assistant's daily limit and, when you're signed in, the cookies that keep you signed in. Your choice of light or dark theme is kept in your browser. No advertising or tracking cookies.
